Chris Dippel

Christopher Dippel is an Associate Professor of Drama and Dance at Hofstra University. He is an actor, director, and playwright with Off and Off-Off Broadway credits credits including The Cherry Lane, Lucille Lortel, and HERE Art Center. Regional credits include Indiana Repertory Theatre, Brown County Playhouse, and Trinity Rep as part of the Providence Improv Festival. He is a founding member of the New York Neo-Futurists, and his original plays for Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind have been produced in cities across the country, and in Australia as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Favorite roles include Lenny in Of Mice and Men, Orgon in Tartuffe, and Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Recent directing credits include Hamlet, Endgame, What Fools!, and Cloud Nine. He received his M.F.A. in acting from Indiana University, Bloomington.
