Ellen Zemlin
Ellen first heard about Neo-Futurism on This American Life sometime in the early-to-mid 2000s and was immediately in love with the concept. They've been coming to NYNF shows since 2013 and volunteering with the company since 2015, assuming the role of Volunteer Coordinator in November 2018. When not sitting at their day job at the Jewish Museum or in the Kraine box office, Ellen's probably reading a book, petting a cat, doing a crossword, running, singing showtunes at Marie's Crisis, birding, and/or thinking about pigeons. Special skills include German, basic Yiddish, a decent understanding of the rules of cricket, and some pretty darn cool Excel formulas.
