(Sliding Scale - $150) NYNF Digital Workshop: Audio Memoirs
Looking for a unique and easy way to express yourself/create art/make a gift for friends and family? Write and record an Audio Memoir!
Inspired by the Hit Play podcast episode "In (re)view", this online class taught by NYNF Co-Artistic Director Kyra Sims will explore Neo-Futurist exercises and methods of task, truth, and storytelling in an audio format. At the end of this 3-night digital workshop, you will have created a portfolio of fresh, polished digital works that are true to you and your lived experiences.
This digital workshop operates on a sliding scale:
$25 - $150: Take the workshop, and receive PDFs of the exercises and best recording practices (including how to record on your phone!)
$200+: All of the above, plus your recording will be edited by a professional sound designer (limit 10 slots)
$300+: All of the above, PLUS you have the option to have your work recorded by voiceover actress Mara Wilson! (limit 10 slots)

Choose to attend the digital workshop live, or receive recordings of each lecture to go at your own pace. All audio recordings or scripts that will receive professional audio editing and/or will be recorded by Mara Wilson are due by the end of the final class.
